Today year 1 came to my class. We did this thing called geometree. What you had to do was decorate a Christmas tree useing triangles. It was very fun and easy.
My year 1 buddy was my friends little sister, her name is Hai. She is very cute and looks just like her sister. we both eajoyed doing this art peace!

On the 27 October my class went to camp and it was a blast. After a week we did a movie about what we did at camp. We used weVideo to make our movie it was really hard and anoying but i finaly completed it! Doing my camp movie was good and hard. I think that my movie is really good and im really proud of it. Doing all the activates was hard but fun and thats what I like. Learning at camp was really intresting we were hearing things from 100s of years ago. I think that I have done a great job at my camp movie so hear is what I have done:

A few weeks ago the year 5 & 6 sdudents went camping and it was a blast apart from the last night. It ws horble. Here I have written all about what we did at camp. There are lots of activites that we did in camp. It is my first time going on school camp. Sadly it only happens every 2 years.

School camp
On Wednesday we went to camp. We went on the bus in tribes. Tribe 1 & 2 went on the first bus and tribe 3 & 4 went on the second bus. My mum was a parent helper so I sat next to my mum. Before the bus started I pulled out my crochet. Then the bus started and I put it in my bag. When we were halfway to camp, there
was green grass all over the hills! Usually they are a beige color. When we got there we had a snack. Then I
saw a bunch of huge sticks and I had a great idea. Maybe I could build a hut! So I started to stack all the
sticks, one by one. Then it was time to walk to camp. It took 2 hours. On the way to camp there was a girl
that worked in living springs. She told us all about the things that happened many years ago. When it was time for lunch we stopped at a farm and had lunch. When I finished eating I went over to the animals. There were lots of chickens and there was my mum’s favourite animal there, a KuneKune pig. I fed it an apple and then we went on a bushwalk. When we got to the campsite we went to the bunk beds/rooms and then we went to the auditorium. The first activity we did was orienteering. After that we played recreational games. We did mini golf, zipline, monorail, trampoline, rope swing and sports. After that we had chicken curry for dinner and then we had dessert. It was ice-cream with fruit. Later on we did an auction using the camp money we had earnt. I won 5 rainbow rubbers. A few minutes later, we went swimming all of my friend and my mum played tag. Then it was time for the camp concert. Me and my friends were doing a dance. The music that we danced over was Waka Waka by Shakira. We were SO SO SO nervous when they called us out. When we finished the judges gave us 4 10’s! We were sooo happy! After all those performances we went to bed. The next day me and my friends woke up. Guys its 6:30! I'm gonna do my crocheting. On the second day we had breakfast and then it was time for the 4 rotations, the where bush ecology, bouldering, initiative team building and low ropes. My favourite one was the initiative team building. When we finished that it was time for swimming it was sooooo fun. Me and my mum and friends played tag and it was a monstrosity! Finally it was time to go to sleep and it was the worst sleep I ever had because three of my friends didn’t stop TALKING AND LAUGHING!!!! I hated it! The next day day I walk up first and packed all my stuff. When the whistle blew I went down to eat breakfast. When I finished eating breakfast I went on the trampoline and did a bunch of flips. It was really fun, UNTIL, it was time to leave I said good bye.
When we got home I was so happy. :)

This week was Chinese week and at school the teachers made creat tasks for the class. In one of the create tasks you had to write your name in Chinese. My name is Sofi and here is what it looks like.
And here is the other create task. You had to make a 5 peace character drawing about a story called The Race. I did a quick drawing of all the charcters they might look ugly but I don't mind. So heres what I got!

In school My class has been doing a really fun art, only it can be sometimes really anoying! It's called Vector Drawing. What we had to do was find an animal (BUT NOT CARTOON!) use this thing called Polyline. In case you don't know what that is it's this thing, and what you do with it is you press on what you wan't to start with on your animal or something and you move it around the picture you are doing and once your done with that you connect it with what you started with. And if you would like to you could put in color on your polyline that you did. So the two arts that I did was an Otter named FATGUS and the second one was a book character that I really like is Pippi Longstocking. The reason why I chose FATGUS was because I really really love Otters, they are my favourite animal!

On Monday 23 August it was MY BIRTHDAY! (Yay) and I had lots of balloons so I thought of maybe dressing them up and they looked soooo cute. There where 4 dressed up balloons and they all had feelings the red one was angry because he lost his JOB! And the pink balloon was happy because there was SNOW! The green balloon didn’t look good he was always sick and he did not like that at all. The last one was very sad, he heard a very loving story and he couldn’t stop crying. Here are some pic of my balloon friends!

In lockdown, I have been very bored and I don’t like being bored at all. On Monday, I did my meeting thingamobob for school. At the end the teachers told us random things that we can do in the week and I no chose making a tower of toys that I had (because I didn’t hear what the other things were). Haha.
So my tower was very big.
The width of the tower was: 149cm
And the hight of the tower was 81cm
(Cool right!) anyways here is a pic of the tower, but before you look there is a little challenge for you.
You have to (if you would like to) find the 10 squishy’s that I have hidden. There are: 3 pink ones, 1 Orange one, 1 brown, 1 white, 1 blue, 1 green and 1 peach. Just to tell you I have no idea what the peach toy is, but I think it’s a lama.

This week and last week I was working on two sheets of algebra patterns. On the first sheet I was doing 8 question, and the second sheet I did 6 questions.
